Hello hello! I first want to say thank you to all those who reached out to me about last weeks post on connecting not comparing. I love that I have such dedicated readers and that I get to reach out to other new ones every single day! So thank you for letting me be a part of your day!
At the end of every month I try my best to go through my closet making sure I keep things that I know I will be using for the upcoming months. One item I aways make sure to keep is my olive green vest and jackets. They are such a classic wardrobe staple that I thought i’d round up some similar jackets and give you a casual way to wear it.
There are so many beautiful olive jackets nowadays that it was hard to narrow it down to my favorite 6. A utility, army, anorak or olive jacket is one of my favorite jackets to add a light layer for a fall outfit. I wear a lot of casual jean outfits but adding a jacket like this on top takes it up a notch. For instance take this neutral colored look i’m wearing today, while it looks great on its own when I added the jacket it made it more interesting.
This jacket looks great with casual outfits but you could also dress it up. I love how it looks with a dress underneath and a pair of boots. These boots I just got in and look great with dresses. Here is another boot and dress look if you need more ideas. It really is one of my favorite jackets.
Over the weekend I was so excited to take sometime to spend with friends and Chris’s parents. It was a nice weekend but Sunday night I was sure hoping for one more weekend day. Anyone else have those kind of Sunday’s? I think they call them the Sunday scaries. Now that it’s Monday i’ve got my list together and i’m ready to get as much done and grab a coffee with my friend Jen.
