Are you excited for fall as much as me? I can’t wait for the 22nd the first official day of fall. I have gotten quite a few questions lately on how to decorate the dining room for fall and when I got those questions I knew I had to create a today’s post. The dining room is one room that I love using when we have our family and friends over especially for special occasions. When we do celebrate for holidays I like to add a festive flare.
When Chris and I first moved into our home I knew that there would be moments that we would want to add color into our home so we opted for keeping our home neutral colored. With our home having lots of grey, beige and white it makes it really simple to add in color when we feel like doing so.
I really didn’t want to go to overboard with the decorations so I added a few key statement pieces. The end chairs are normally just left alone but I had these two pillows and thought they looked perfect on the chairs. One of my favorite key pieces in this room is the wood carved wreath that I places on the mirror instead of a door. I saw this pumpkin centerpiece at one of my recent Home Goods store and couldn’t be happier with how it looks on the table. I mean how cute are those mini pumpkins. And as if I couldn’t get enough pumpkins I added some on these white plates to go with the two tones napkins.
I can’t wait to use this space for gatherings this year! How are you all decorating this fall? We decorated our porch last weekend and I can’t get enough of it. I’m just waiting on one piece of furniture that should be here at the end of the month. Would you all be interested in seeing a post on how I decorated this space?
Happy Friday!
