I have a major sweet tooth ! Ice cream is for sure top 3 on my list ! So anytime I get a chance to spruce up classic vanilla ice cream I give it a chance. If you noticed on my SNAPCHAT and INSTAGRAM you would have seen me talking about becoming a Good Housekeeping Ambassador recently. With that being said I’m thrilled an honored that I get to test out a few new products here and there and help spread the word about them. As my readers know I like SIMPLE recipes so I really wanted to try a couple of recipes from the new August issue and give you my feedback on them . Starting with this delicious Grilled Peach Melba.
2 Lg. ripe peaches, each cut in half (pits discarded)
1/2 pt. rasberries
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. vanilla ice cream
1. Prepare outdoor grill for direct grilling on med.
2. Place peach halves on hot grill grate and cook 5 to 6 min. or until lightly charred and tender, turning once
3. Meanwhile, prepare sauce In a bowl with fork mash half of raspberries with sugar. Stir in remaining raspberries.
4. To serve place a peach half in each of 4 dessert bowls top with ice cream and raspberry sauce.
This recipe took a total of 10 maybe a bit less. The warm grilled peaches made this a wonderful melt in your mouth dessert. Be on the look out for another recipe soon ! Happy Friday everyone ! I’ll be attending a six 02 event tonight can’t wait !
