I’m not looking forward to the weekend said no one EVER!! Here in casa Sutter #casasutter we are really try to get the most out of our weekends. Especially when the week days were so busy! Today’s post was request by a lovely reader who simply asked what do you like to do on the weekends?
Coffee Time and Music
On the weekends Chris and I have a small amount of time cut out in the mornings for working on the bizz but after that we are fully committed to having fun and relaxing. For a little bit of motivation we decide on either going to having coffee at one of our favorite places or heading home and making it their. If we decide on staying home we make breakfast for us and the puppies. During this time we play our favorite tunes which is almost always some type of coffee house or happy jazz music.
Fun and Games
If the weather is nice we head out to the backyard and will either go swimming, bike rides or play fetch with the pups. I like to bring a book or read a magazine while relaxing on the swing chair. Chris is all about the board games and while i’m not a big fan I do play them every once in a while.
Reflection
I love that on Sunday’s we go to church. It really helps us reconnect with each other and our families. It’s not often that we miss a service but if we do we watch them online at home. I also love listening to a few podcasts to find motivation or to recenter my thoughts. Weather we have Sunday dinner just us 2 or with our families we make sure to reflect on lessons we’ve learned. We also like to talk about how we can most importantly make our relationship stronger with God.
