Magnolia and Boone Hall Plantations

Charleston - Magnolia plantation - south carolina
Good morning! I’m so happy that I’m finally getting the chance to share with you my first post from South Carolina. Even though Christopher and I left out of AZ super early we didn’t actually get to Charleston till later that evening with time difference. With our first actual full day we decided to get up early and head out to see some of the beautiful plantations. Our first stop was to the lovely Magnolia Plantation. It took us about 25-30 minutes to get this plantation from where we were staying the Andrew Pickney Inn. While on our visit to the oldest public garden we saw tons of lush green plants and the cutest bridge.

The second plantations we explored was the Boone Hall Plantation. This plantation was where they filmed scenes from The Notebook and where Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married. So we had to go! There we saw the famous white house which was stunning! and we also saw baby frogs and a few pretty ponies. Oh and we also got to hear a bit of Dustin Lynch singing since he was doing an event there so that was also pretty cool!

For our friends and I first exploring outing I think it went pretty amazing. There was so much to see! I would highly recommend taking a look at these beautiful plantations. *Tip* for sure bring comfy shoes, sunscreen and bug spray! These are the 2 plantations we went to but make sure you check out the Explore Charleston for more fun adventures! Stay tuned for more on our trip to Charleston South Carolina and Myrtle Beach.
