Mini Heart Strawberry Pies

I am a sucker for anything with strawberry or raspberry filling. When I saw these mini desserts from The Dessert Lover I knew I had to try and make them. Not to mention these are perfect for Valentine’s Day. They are of course super SIMPLE. I need to start baking more before it gets too hot lol I got this adorable brunch book for my birthday that needs to be used !

Mini Heart Strawberry Pie
Makes about 12

INGREDIENTS :
1 Package pie crust
Strawberry Jam
Sugar
Milk
Heart Cookie Cutter
Fork

INSTRUCTIONS:
Pre-Heat oven @ 375
Cut out hearts on dough with cookie cutter (remember you will need enough for the tops & bottoms)
Place 1 tsp of jam in in the middle of the heart
Place plain heart cutout on top
Take fork make indents all around the heart sealing all the edges (like an empanada )
Brush with milk
Sprinkle with sugar
Repeat
Bake for 15-20 min or till golden brown

They taste like little pop tarts. It was so fun making these. If you try them let me know what you think! Enjoy !
