Fairmont Olympic - Seattle - Travel - Simply Sutter

Seattle Guide - Simply Sutter

Where To Stay:

Chris and I stayed in the lovely Fairmont Olympic and it was perfect. The Olympic is located about central around everything you could possibly want to see which was really convenient. We normally rent a car but being so close to everything we either walked or called for an uber. Our room was phenomenal not to mention the decor was cozy and elegant. If you find yourself in Seattle I would highly recommend staying here everyone is very helpful and always in a great mood.

What To Eat:

Breakfast/Brunch: Bocco: try the lattes and the crab omellets, Top Pot Donuts: These are all over Seattle so you are bound to stumble on one. If you like raspberry I say try the raspberry old fashioned. Red Sage: Patio seating while sipping on a sorbet mimosa.

Coffee Spots: Ghost Alley Coffee ( anything with rum sugar is top notch ) The Original Starbucks: The line can be long but the special reserve coffee makes up for it.

Lunch: Acadia: This place reminded me of a modern nordic spot with a cozy vibe. Their pork sandwiches and fresh made juice were very tasty. Beechers: You have to get the worlds best mac and cheese. Pikes Place Chowder: The chowder and the lobsters rolls were a must and right next door you will find Rachel’s Ginger Beer: This was my favorite drink ever they have seasonal juices too so make sure you ask for those flavors next time.

Dinner: The Pink Door: Live music and the best pasta dishes ever! Purple Cafe and Wine Bar: This one is walking distance from the Fairmont and they have a great atmosphere with a cool wine staircase. Rocco’s: Cozy spot for pizza and wine

Drinks and Dessert: Fremont Brewing: This place had some great beer but it was a little packed for outdoor seating. Pie Bar: This place specializes in pie flavored drinks and pie eats.
