Skillet Cookie

One of my favorite things to do is bake. I love it its one of the things I find very therapeutic.
With cooler tempatures the kitchen is where you find me baking away! my PINTEREST is getting lots of recipe love for sure.! I found this recipe for skillet cookies and quickly checked to see if I had everything to make it. I called Christopher at work and said I’m making us a treat tonight he instantly lit up because I mean who doesn’t love cookies.

2. In bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt
3. In separate bowl, mix butter and sugars until light and creamed together
4. Add egg, vanilla, and cream and stir to incorporate
5. Combine with flour mixture until well mixed
6. Stir in chocolate chips
7. Press lightly into cast iron skillet
8. Bake about 35-40 minutes or until edges are golden
Don’t overbake! Cookies will continue to cook in skillet.

I used 2 individual skillets so needless to say I have a tub of cookie dough that I need to make cookies out of. You know I love my new skillets from World Market so I had to try another recipe this one was simple and great for a night in. I am in need of a new apron mine has seen better days for sure . Are these from world market not cute!
If you make these let me know what you thought or if you added anything extra like I added coconut in mine♥
 Have a great Friday !
