Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be sharing our christmas decorated living room with you all. After Chris and I did an IG live decorating our tree with you my inbox was flooded with questions on decor. For today’s post Joss and Main is helping me create this affordable festive space. This year I really wanted to incorporate lots of red and green to our neutral colored pallet. The shelves and fireplace are a big focal point to our living room so it’s important to have them styled perfectly.
I started with incorporating lots of christmas greenery like cedar and pine. On the left shelf I added this mini spruce tree which looks adorable across from the now decorated tree. For the right upper shelf I found this natural preserved wreath. I have to say that this wreath smells amazing and it is only $55! The last piece of greenery is one that really makes the space pop. I was so excited to put this pinecone garland on our stone fireplace. The one I have here is not available but I like a very similar one.
Speaking of the fireplace last year we ended up hanging stalkings up here but I wanted to switch up a bit this time. With that being said I hung these bell ornaments that spell out NOEL. How fun are these feathered trees! Chris picked them out and they are just he cutest. They come in a set of three so you could easily spread them apart or keep them together like I did. Lanterns are something that I am picky about but when I found this set of 2 I just couldn’t say no. Inside the lanterns I put red battery powered candles. The candles come of with a remote that has several nifty functions.
The last thing I needed for to create this space is pillows. Pillows are always a must for me in decorating. I ended up getting both red and white pillows. The white ones say Ho Ho Ho and the red ones are sold out but they come in other colors like this white and gold version.
Now that the living room is all decorated i’m ready to have people over for holiday gatherings. Make sure you check to look at the Joss and Main holiday shop for more items including the ones in today’s post.
