Hello friends! If you have ever wondered how do a try on haul or wonder what goes into them then get ready because today I’m sharing my ultimate try on haul guide for you!

Doing a try on haul is probably one of my top 3 favorite things todo as a blogger. It’s a chance for me to share with you all the pretty pieces that I come across. I personally have two types of try on hauls that I do, either in store and at home. Both of these are fun to do but can take sometime to accomplish. Below you will find my step by step guide to creating these but the most important tip is to have fun and be yourself!

In Store Try On Haul

1. Prior to leaving to go to your destination make sure you bring:

– An extra phone battery or have a full charge ( you’d be surprised at how much battery this eats up and it’s not fun when your phone dies in the middle of it )

– I like to wear or bring a neutral pair of shoes so that it goes with a majority of my outfits

2. Take your time looking for items that fit your brand. Taking into consideration price, style and fit.

3. Make to sure to pick a dressing room with the best lighting and try to get the spot next to you with no one in it if possible. I sometimes will ask the dressing room attendant if those are available. (p.s I still get a little shy talking if I know there is someone in the dressing room next to me =)

4. Setup all of your outfits using the available racks. I like to pair items that go together on one and dresses on the other.

5. When filming your outfits make sure you are showing details that stand out as well as sharing how items fit and price.

6. Take a few still shots!! Full view and close up details are a great start!

7. Don’t forget to save everything! I also like to favorite pictures so I can refer back to those easier if I ever want to reshare.

8. Link items: Now that you are done trying on it’s NOW time to link all of the items ( I use Reward Style ) you tried on and purchased. This can take some time but once you get the hang of it it goes by quicker.

9. Posting: When you post your try on haul I suggest adding text with item descriptions, price and size you are wearing. Also if there is a sale or discount. (No one wants to miss a sale or discount!)

10. Swipe Up: Make sure you have your swipe up links added to where your readers can easily shop the items you are sharing.

11. Tags: Tags are a great way for brands to discover you and for reshares so these can be added as well (example @monicustter)

At Home Try on Haul

1. Prep: First make sure to hang, steam items and remove all tags

2. Clean mirror you will be using (No one likes to see all the dust stuck to it)

3. Clean surrounding area so it does not take away from what your sharing. ( My puppies are always in mine when I’m at home but I love it )

4. Find the best lighting whether its natural lighting or using a light system. I use natural light.

5. Before filming your outfits make sure radio is off (I’ve heard that maybe having music in the background ig will ding you for it) and you are showing details that stand out as well as sharing how items fit and price.

6. Take a few still shots! Full view and close up details are a great start!

7. Save all your pictures and videos!

8. Link items: Now that you are done trying on its NOW time to link all of the items ( I use Reward Style ) you tried on and purchased.

12. Educate your readers on how they can shop what you share and show your personality but most IMPORTANTLY HAVE FUN!
