Tis the season to head to the pumpkin patches! On the weekends Chris and I try our best to do some type of outdoor activities with each other or friends and family. Yesterday we decided that since the weather was beautiful it was the perfect opportunity to visit a pumpkin patch. It’s one of my favorite fall activities so today i’m sharing a bit about our the day and 5 outfits to wear when you go.
The first look is what I recently wore when we went on Sunday. I originally had on a dress but opted for jeans since it was a bit chilly. If you are casual jeans kind of girl this look is for you. These jeans are on repeat for me but I have a feeling that this $20 sweater will be too. It is incredibly soft and comes in other colors as well. I actually just ordered it in rust as well. To go with this look I added these ankle boots that i’ve had for years! Just look at the other pics below =) I love this material because it’s easy to wipe of the dust and dirt from walking the grounds. Lastly I had to wear a floppy hat! If you are looking for one I highly recommend this one. On the inside you can adjust the tightness.
One year the pumpkin patch I wore shorts and was it a genius idea! It was also very warm! I wouldn’t advise wearing white shorts but hey if you think you can wear them without getting dirty…get it girl! I know I would 100% get them dirty somehow! Whatever shorts you decide on I love the look of doing a bit of plaid with it. This top is comes in a few other colors and is a great deal. Just in case you want to stock up.
Last year we drove up to Prescott so by the time we got there it was later in the evening a much cooler. This fringe sweater was the top for a cool evening roaming the farm and late night hay ride. Does anything look familiar to you? Told you these boots are perfect for the occasion.
I naturally run colder so I almost always have a light weight cardigan with me. This longer one looks great with denim shorts, simple tee and peep toe booties.
The last look is one that I shared last week but would is also another great option to wear to the pumpkin patch. This top wrapped around my waist is the same one from above with white shorts. You could wear ankle boots or even some type of sneaker.
We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch that I told Chris we should come again next week. We had never been to this pumpkin farm before but I loved it. We ended up doing the hay ride, maze and picking out a few cute pumpkins. If we do end up going again next week I know i’ll have some options on what to wear. As we were leaving I saw this hilarious pumpkin guy and had to a picture with it. I mean his hams were pumpkins LOL!
