Technically fall isn’t until the 23rd but I have already been getting some questions from you all about fall decor and that makes me happy because I love fall too! I love getting into my cozies, grabbing my coffee and enjoying the cooler weather! Today I wanted to give you all a look at our formal dining room fall decor along with sharing a a few of my top favorite affordable places to shop for fall decor for your home.
For our formal dining room I wanted to keep things a bit more minimal and neutral but still have enough to wear if felt like fall. I stared with a statement but subtle piece of wall art. This one is from last year but HERE is a similar one that’s a great option. Next I spruced up the buffet table with these darling glass pumpkins. Inside these pumpkins you can do so many different things like add colored lights, leaves or even a candle. I opted for a clear twinkle lights. For the most part I kept everything the same and added a blend of real and faux pumpkins. You can NEVER have to many pumpkins if you ask me.
When it comes to recommendations to shop for affordable fall decor try At Home, Target, HomeGoods, Kirklands and Hobby Lobby. I know that if I go into any one of these stores I am going to come out with some great pieces.
At Home always has AMAZING prices on big items like wreaths and everything you will need to create a beautiful dining or mantel centerpiece. Also if you are into decorating for Halloween you need to check this store out they have really cool outdoor decor! After our last visit Chris wants to now to do our front yard with GIANT gargoyals! Every time I’ve worked with At Home they never let me down! It’s super simple to walk out with everything you need!
The dollar spot area always has cute little fall items to decorate small spaces like desks and coffee tables. Outside of the dollar spot this year I snagged these glass pumpkins that were half the price of another store! If you are looking for fall dinnerware this is where ours is from.
I like to go to scan the clearance section first then make my way back to the other items in the front. Make sure you stop by on Tuesday’s as that’s when they bring out new items. Try scooping up key items like cozy blankets, throw pillows and cute hand towels. Home Goods also has cute little fall animal decor like foxes and squirrels.
Looking to spruce up those floral arrangements but don’t want to spend too much? Hobby Lobby has those fluffing pieces you need. I found these cute pumpkin stems and cotton ones while they were on sale for 40% off. Hobby Lobby does days where certain items will be 40% off like florals, wooden or ceramic items so be sure to watch for those.
If you are looking for a festive sign I like to look for mine here! I usually wait till I get a coupon in the mail so that I can get an extra discount. Last year I got the one you see here and this year they have a similar fall sign and I’m thinking maybe just one more sign wouldn’t hurt lol! Kirklands is another good spot to look for large lanterns and porch decor.
