Can we all say TGIF! This week has been exhausting and it has done nothing but pour since we arrived back from Colorado. On a lighter note I’m sharing part 1 of Christopher and I’s recent getaway. Our first stop is Denver. We were only in Denver 1 day but i’m so glad we got to sight see a bit. There were so many streets filled with holiday cheer, scenic views and chic shops.
We ended up staying at the newly renovated Magnolia Hotel. Remember this cute photo I shared on instagram . I adored our room the view was so simply stunning.
We ended up going to The Source an artisan ranch market. This place is a must! The Proper Pour had some of the most delicious beer. A mix sort of like beer sours and a wide selection of other wines etc. Then we hopped on over to The Acorn for lunch were we dined on grilled cheese and ramen.
Next a box of the most satisfying donuts from voodoo donuts and a stroll around town.
We were exhausted after all the eating and walking around so we went back to the Magnolia and took a cat nap. Christ and I knew we wanted to do take a look around downtown at night but not sure where to go. At the last minute we ended up hearing from a people walking by about a speakeasy! yes you heard right! Williams & Graham was one of our favorite experiences while we were there. It might have looked like a library. but was oh so much more. I wish I had taken more photos but since it was very dimmed lit the images would not have done justice.
I so hoped you got some useful information for your next trip to Denver. If you have any questions on were we stopped and such feel free to email me or comment below. Have a safe and happy Friday!
