Are you a makeup girl? I know for me personally I have an addiction with lip products! I don’t know how many times I have caught myself shoving things in my drawers only to have it be one giant mess. That all changed when we moved into the new house and I got my own very own vanity. Get ready because today i’m sharing how I organize my vanity and trust me when I say it is so simple.
Insert picture of me with my very first vanity! Talk about full circle! No matter what your vanity looks like there are items out there made to help keep these spaces tidy. I like to start off with getting rid of the old and unused. Then start sorting but I mean like sorting! All the lip glosses in one pile and all the lipsticks in another. Also I wear different perfumes with each season so keep a few out that you love ATM.
Next up is to get those items that best suit your vanity. For me I went with two of these acrylic drawer organizers. I also just ordered this one for the middle section. I like to keep my makeup brushes together in this blue vase that I got last year. This gold accent vase is a great option and only $17. If you have a countertop space like my vanity does a tray is perfect for displaying items you use everyday.
Now that you know everything that I use to organize my vanity its time to give that makeup and accessories a home. Those acrylic dividers are life savors! I store all of my lip products, eye shadows, mascaras and more in them. I keep everything related together making it easier for me to find something and to get in the habit of knowing where to put them back at. For the top of my vanity I ended up using this marbled tray to display my favorite perfumes, this nail polish that I can’t get enough of, a cute little ring tray my friend go me for my birthday and a few other things.
How easy was that! It really does make such a difference having this space organized. I love waking up grabbing my coffee and getting ready in this space.
