Happy Monday! Im finally back from Seattle and let me just start by saying it really was an amazing 4 days no matter how much I might or might not have complained about the walking lol. Seattle was pretty chilly in the mornings so I’m so glad that I had this trench coat with me. I know it didn’t rain but I normally run a bit colder so I’m ALWAYS cold and since I’m always cold this coat was perfect. So grab your coffee or tea because this morning I’m chatting all about my Seattle trench coat style.
A trench coat (30% off NOW $90)is always an essential for me when it comes to traveling to cooler temperature destinations. For this trip I made sure only bring staple pieces that I could mix and match. Another reason why I like staple pieces items it’s because I can go from day to night with just a few switch outs.
During the day I wore this light weight trench coat with denim jeans, a comfy t-shirt and sneakers. Chris and I headed out pretty early a few mornings to grab breakfast or a few donuts and a coffee shop or two that was on our must try list. Don’t get me wrong i’m all for getting up early to sightsee but my goodness it was chilly. This trench coat instantly blocked all that extra crisp morning air. Later in the evening I just wrapped this trench around my waist when it got warmer.
Before heading to Seattle I made sure to do my research of all the best places to dine. I will be sharing my complete guide to Seattle later on this week for you all. Depending on where we dined for dinner I made sure to keep things classy. This trench coat from Bernardo goes great over a dress or over an all neural look. The outfit I’m wearing today was one of my favorites when it came to styling this coat. Not to mention when a coat is this versatile with its hood, casual pockets and tie waist belt it makes any outfit perfect.
I hope you all loved today’s look as much I did. If you are looking for an all purpose trench coat this one is the way to go! Need more ideas on how to style a trench? Check out this look from last year.
